Richard Dickherber, Sr.
(President) dick@dickherber.com
Richard
has been President since 1973. He was preceded by his father
Eugene Dickherber. He received a degree in Business from St.
Benedict's College. Richard is a member of NECA, HBA, SLEB,
and the Knights of Columbus. He honorably served his country
in Vietnam.

Rich is responsible
for the residential department field operations. He received a
B.A. degree in Business from the University of Missouri - St.
Louis. He a member of the IBEW Local #1 and has been with the
company since 1998.
Kevin J. Knocke, P.E., P.C. (General Manager)
(Comm. / Ind. / Design-Build Dept.)
Kevin is the General Manager over the commercial,
industrial, and design/build departments. He received his
degree in Engineering at the University of Mo. - Rolla in 1986 and
his Professional Engineering accreditation in 1992. Kevin is
on the board of directors for the St. Louis Electrical Board. He joined
the company in 1989.
Deborah A. Smith (Comptroller / Asst. Secretary /
Human Resources)
(Accounting Dept.)
Deborah
is responsible for the financial management of the corporation, the
accounting staff, human resources, and IT operations. She received a B.A.
degree in Business from Lindenwood University and an Associates
degrees in Accounting & Liberal Arts from St. Louis Community
College. She joined the company in 1988.
Labor
Dickherber
Electric is a union contractor affiliated with IBEW, Local #1 and a
member of the National Electrical Contractors Association
(NECA). All of our wiremen have completed the IBEW training
course. We employ up to 140 wiremen and material
handlers. In addition, 80% of our foremen have over 15 years
with the company. This keeps us loyal to our employees, as
well as our customers. We are available for construction
projects up to the $6M range, as well as service truck repair /
maintenance work.
Licensing
We are
licensed to do work in the greater metropolitan St. Louis area, as
well as the following counties: St. Charles, Lincoln, Warren,
Jefferson, Franklin, Pike, and St. Clair (Ill.). We are
registered with the State of Missouri as an Engineering
Corporation. We can provide you with turnkey design for all of
your electrical needs.
Equipment
Dickherber
Electric maintains the latest equipment in the industry for testing
high voltage, locating underground utilities, testing grounding
networks, etc. We currently have over 45 service vehicles on
the road and stage our material from a 10,000 sq. ft.
warehouse. All other equipment (hoists, manlifts) is at our
disposal through leasing, as projects dictate.
